  In your neck there are seven cervical vertebrae
Supporting your chest there are 12 thoracic vertebrae
Next are five lumbar vertebrae
Below them is the sacrum (which consists of 5 sacral vertebrae)
At the bottom, literally, comes the coccyx or "vestigial tail" which consists of four tiny vertebrae

Hello,
My name is Gaz and this is my back.

As you will notice there is something different about it.
You guessed right! The scarring on my lower back is from a Discectomy L4/5, a Laminectomy L5/S1 and a Fusion on L4/5.
